Sizing — Find Your Fit
Measure your dog's chest at the widest point (behind the front legs) and back length (collar to base of tail). Leave 1–2 inches of ease.
When in doubt, size up.
— 2XS (8⅝" chest / 11¾" back) — Teacup breeds, small puppies, Teacup Chihuahua, Teacup Yorkie
— XS (9⅞" chest / 15" back) — Chihuahua, Yorkie, Maltese, Toy Poodle, Teacup Pomeranian

Fit Notes — Know Before You Buy
The 2XL is cut for long, lean, athletic mid-sized dogs. It is not suited for every breed at that size:
Large broad-chested breeds (Labradors, Vizslas, Dobermans): Even if the back length matches, these breeds carry chest measurements of 32"+ that won't accommodate this knit. Always measure chest first.
French Bulldogs: Frenchies can reach a 26" chest, but their short bodies mean the 2XL back length will trail past the tail. Frenchies fit best in M or L depending on build — check both measurements.
Greyhounds and deep-chested sighthounds: Whippets fit beautifully in XL. Full-sized Greyhounds carry a chest depth that will stretch this knit beyond its range.
Care
Hand wash cold or gentle machine cycle in a mesh laundry bag. Lay flat to dry. Avoid tumble drying — heat will shrink and distort the knit. Knit sweaters may experience slight shrinkage with washing; if you plan to machine wash regularly, size up.
